Sun kiss
Cool air blows through the open window.
Despite this, the warmth of the sun still lies on her skin. It slowly wanders over her cheeks, brushes against her neck, and leaves behind this gentle feeling that almost reminds one of a touch.
She closes her eyes.
Just for a moment.
And suddenly, there's this soft pulling deep within her. Her heart stutters, her breath becomes completely still for a moment. A fine shiver runs over her skin, while somewhere under all the calm, a small ember flares up.
Not loud.
Not demanding.
Just warm.
Familiar.
She doesn't know exactly why a few words can trigger something like this. Why they still move somewhere inside her, even though the moment has long since passed.
She simply lets the feeling be.
Breathes slowly in.
And smiles.
Because sometimes, no grand gestures are needed.
Sometimes, a few words, a quiet moment, and this barely visible fire, which suddenly remembers how it feels to burn, are enough.
