Evening light. A street. People passing by. And a man who suddenly stops.
She doesn't see his face clearly.
Just this moment when two glances meet.
Something stirs lightly in her chest.
Then the image is gone.
She remains standing in front of the mirror, wondering why this brief image won't leave her head.
Maybe it was just a play of light.
Maybe not.
Her reflection smiles again.
This time quite clearly.
And for a brief moment, she believes her lips have moved.
Just one word.
"Go."
She smiles involuntarily.
She doesn't know where to go yet.

You feel her warmth before she even touches you.
Then her hand on your cheek.
Her f****rtips glide softly over it, linger for a moment. She lifts her head towards you and leaves this tiny distance between your lips.
Intentionally.
Your breath catches.
Then she kisses you.
First soft. Almost cautiously.
She pulls away again, but only for a breath. Her forehead remains against yours, her smile is so close that you feel it more than you see it.
The next kiss lasts longer.
Her arms wrap around you and pull you closer. You feel her body against yours, her warmth, her f****rs slowly stroking over your neck.
And suddenly there is only this closeness.
You open your eyes briefly.
Next to you stands a mirror.
In it, you see her in your arms. Her face close to yours. Then she lifts her gaze – and looks directly at you over the reflection.
This smile again.
As if she knew something.
You want to turn to her, but her lips are already touching your neck.
Just a gentle kiss.
Then another one.
Your eyes close again.
And right there, the dream shatters.
You wake up.
Alone.
The bed still warm, your heart beating a little too fast.
For a few seconds, you don't move.
Because somewhere on your skin, the memory of her closeness seems to still be lying.
And when your gaze falls on the mirror, you have to smile.
Maybe it was just a dream.
But damn…

Because sometimes, no grand gestures are needed.
