There are those moments when someone is simply there... and that's exactly enough to throw you off balance.
No words. No movement. Just this gaze that lingers a little too long. You feel it immediately. This tension in the air that demands nothing but makes everything possible. Presence can be dangerous. Not loud, not obvious... but quiet, almost innocent. And that's where its game lies. Because the less that happens, the more begins in you. Thoughts that become self-sustaining. Glances that you suddenly return, even though you didn't want to.
And at some point, you realize... It's not what he does... but what emerges between you.
Maybe that's the most intense form of closeness... when someone doesn't touch you... but you know exactly how it would feel. And that's why you can't look away anymore.
